Who we are
Freddy ("Freddy," "we," "us," or "our") is a platform operated by Henry LLC that helps accounting and bookkeeping firms build forms, landing pages, and marketing content, track their visibility in AI search results, and manage client communication. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to:
- Customers — firms who sign up for a Freddy account ("Account Holders")
- End Users — people who fill out a form, submit a lead, or otherwise interact with a Customer's Freddy-built page ("Visitors" or "Leads")
- Prospects — businesses whose public information is analyzed when someone runs Freddy's free AI Visibility Grader, whether or not that business ever signs up
Information we collect
Account information. When you create a Freddy account: your name, email address, business name, and any business details you provide during setup (industry, services offered, address, phone number).
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Freddy does not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles that directly, and we retain only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan tier, billing status, and similar account-level detail).
Content you create. Forms, landing pages, blog posts, workflow automations, and any other content you build using Freddy, along with the branding assets (logo, colors, photos) you upload or approve.
Lead and contact data. If you use Freddy's forms or CRM features, we process the information your own website visitors submit to you — names, emails, phone numbers, and whatever else your forms collect. You, the Customer, are responsible for having your own legal basis to collect this information from your visitors — Freddy acts as a data processor on your behalf for this category of data.
Business data analyzed by the AI Visibility Grader. When anyone — including a business that has never signed up — runs our free Grader tool, we collect and analyze publicly available information about that business: its Google Business Profile listing, website content, and page performance data. We also query third-party AI models (see below) to check whether that business is mentioned in response to real search-style questions. This is real, publicly available business information, not personal data about private individuals.
Communications data. If Freddy sends emails, SMS messages, or Slack notifications on your behalf (for example, blog draft alerts or automated client communications), we process the content and delivery status of those messages through the relevant third-party provider (see below).
Usage and technical data. Standard technical information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar analytics data — some of which is stored via cookies (see our Cookie Policy below).
How we use this information
- To provide and operate the Freddy platform (build your pages, run your automations, process your forms)
- To generate your AI Visibility score and related recommendations, using real, live queries against third-party AI models
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send you service-related communications (account notices, billing, security alerts)
- To send you product updates and marketing communications, where you haven't opted out
- To maintain the security and integrity of the platform, including rate-limiting and abuse prevention
- To improve Freddy's own products and features
Who we share information with
We share information with the following categories of third-party service providers, each of whom processes data only as needed to provide their specific service to us:
Stripe — Payment processing and subscription billing
Supabase — Database hosting and infrastructure
Twilio — SMS message delivery
Google (Workspace APIs) — Gmail and Calendar integration, where you connect your own account
Slack — Workflow and notification integration, where you connect your own workspace
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini), Perplexity — AI models used to generate content, power automations, and run AI Visibility checks. Business names, locations, and service categories are sent to these providers as part of running a visibility check
SaaS Custom Domains — Custom domain and subdomain registration and routing
Google Places API — Business listing, review, and location data used by the AI Visibility Grader
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Your rights and choices

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information, so this right is not currently applicable in practice, but you may still submit a request). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@usefreddy.com.

Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Grader lead data for businesses that never convert to a Freddy account is retained for 12 months before deletion.
Children's privacy
Freddy is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last Updated" date, and for material changes, we'll provide more prominent notice.
